Not Bailing

Two days ago I lamented the fact I haven’t been good at sticking to my fall/winter base training plans, and ended up doing a hatchet job on Tuesday and Wednesday workouts. Maybe it was the guilt, but I did both a ride and run today, so I’m hoping I can build off that and back into winter base training.

Bailing

Maybe it’s the unusual cold and snow. Maybe it’s the bugs and injury stuff that turned my fall marathon into a half. Maybe it’s the ongoing QL tightness. Maybe it’s the weird gastro issues I had in November. Or just maybe, I’m getting to that age. Why am I bailing on winter base training?
